Referral Compliance Center

The referral program now has production-facing controls for first-party QR generation, source attribution, fraud review, payout approval, consent/audit logs, and clear separation from attorney fees or legal representation.

1First eligible lockThe first valid referral code captured on account creation or start flow should not be overwritten by a late link.
2Fraud controlsSelf-referral, duplicate device/source patterns, chargebacks, unusually high volume, and suspicious partner activity route to review.
3Compliance reviewMarketing language, attorney-fee separation, consent, privacy, and payout eligibility are reviewable before approval.
4Payout approvalOwner/admin approval is required before any transfer. Referral payouts remain separate from attorney fees and legal services.

Referral compliance rules

  • Rewards apply only to eligible Estate Law Aid platform fees selected by the owner/admin policy.
  • No reward is earned from court fees, filing fees, attorney legal fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, self-referrals, or disallowed marketing.
  • A referral does not create legal advice, attorney review, attorney availability, or an attorney-client relationship.
  • Partner pages and flyers must use tracked links or QR codes, not plain links that lose attribution.
